Objective: The Certified Route Optimization Specialist course is designed to equip logistics and supply chain professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to plan, analyze, and optimize transportation routes for maximum efficiency, cost savings, and service reliability. The course covers route planning algorithms, GIS and mapping tools, fleet management integration, real-time traffic data analysis, fuel consumption optimization, delivery time windows, and last-mile delivery challenges.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Route Optimization: Basics of Route Planning and Optimization, Importance of Efficient Routing in Logistics, Types of Distribution Networks and Delivery Models, Objectives and Benefits of Route Optimization, Role and Responsibilities of a Route Optimization Specialist, Challenges in Manual and Automated Routing.
Module 2: Data Collection and Route Planning Inputs: Types of Data Required for Route Optimization, GPS, GIS, and Telematics Integration, Traffic Patterns and Time Windows, Customer Locations and Service Constraints, Fleet Characteristics and Capacities, Real-Time vs Historical Data Usage.
Module 3: Route Optimization Techniques and Algorithms: Shortest Path and Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP), Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) and Its Variants, Heuristics and Metaheuristics Approaches, Dynamic vs Static Routing Methods, Load Balancing and Cost Minimization Techniques, Algorithm Selection Based on Scenario.
Module 4: Technology and Software Tools: Overview of Route Optimization Software (TMS, Routing Engines), Features and Functions of Modern Routing Tools, Integration with Fleet Management and ERP Systems, Use of AI and Machine Learning in Optimization, Real-Time Tracking and Route Recalculation, Software Selection and Implementation Strategy.
Module 5: Practical Applications and Industry Use Cases: Route Optimization in Last-Mile Delivery, E-Commerce and Courier Industry Examples, Cold Chain and Perishable Goods Routing, Bulk Transport and Long-Haul Optimization, Public Transport and Waste Collection Routing, Case Studies of Successful Route Optimization Projects.
Module 6: Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement: KPIs for Route Efficiency (Distance, Time, Fuel, Cost), Monitoring and Analyzing Route Performance, Identifying Bottlenecks and Optimization Gaps, Customer Satisfaction and On-Time Delivery Metrics, Feedback Loop and System Enhancements, Future Trends in Route Optimization and Smart Logistics.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
