Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Safety KPI Analyst course is designed to equip participants with the skills to identify, define, track, and evaluate safety-related metrics that reflect the effectiveness of an organization’s safety management system. The course covers leading and lagging indicators, data collection methods, trend analysis, root cause identification, benchmarking, dashboard creation, and performance reporting. Participants will also learn to align safety KPIs with organizational goals and standards such as ISO 45001, OSHA, and ESG frameworks. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Safety Performance and KPIs: Understanding the concept of Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Importance of KPIs in safety management systems, Difference between leading and lagging indicators, Role of a Safety KPI Analyst in data-driven safety improvement, Overview of international standards (ISO 45001, OSHA, ILO), Alignment of safety KPIs with organizational goals and objectives.

Module 2: Identification and Selection of Relevant Safety KPIs: Types of safety KPIs: incident rates, near misses, training completion, hazard reporting, Criteria for selecting effective and measurable KPIs (SMART), Customizing KPIs based on industry and risk profile, Mapping KPIs to safety performance outcomes and regulatory requirements, Benchmarking and best practices in KPI selection.

Module 3: Data Collection Methods and Tools for Safety Metrics: Sources of safety data: reports, audits, observations, inspections, Digital tools and software for KPI tracking and analysis, Frequency and consistency of data collection for reliability, Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and validation, Role of safety committees and EHS teams in data gathering, Designing data collection templates and dashboards.

Module 4: KPI Analysis, Interpretation, and Visualization: Statistical methods and trend analysis in safety data, Interpreting results to identify patterns, gaps, and improvement areas, Creating charts, scorecards, and dashboards for stakeholders, Using root cause analysis (RCA) to support KPI outcomes, Forecasting safety performance using historical data, Communicating KPI results effectively to all organizational levels.

Module 5: KPI-Driven Safety Improvements and Decision-Making: Using KPI insights to inform safety strategies and interventions, Integrating KPI findings into risk management and control measures, Linking KPI performance with training, audits, and corrective actions, Case studies of successful KPI-led safety transformations, Role of continuous feedback and real-time monitoring, Aligning KPIs with management reviews and strategic planning.

Module 6: Compliance, Audit, and Continuous Improvement of KPIs: Auditing safety KPIs for compliance and effectiveness, Reviewing and updating KPIs based on evolving risks and standards, Reporting KPI results to regulatory bodies and management, Developing internal standards and procedures for KPI governance, Promoting a safety culture through transparency and accountability, Continuous improvement using Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle in KPI systems.

  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
