Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire & Industrial Safety: Fire chemistry and combustion process, Classes of fire and fire behavior, Principles of industrial safety, Fire risk assessment and hazard identification, Safety culture and awareness, Basic safety terminology and concepts

Module 2: Fire Prevention & Protection Systems: Workplace fire hazards identification, Fire detection and alarm systems, Fire suppression systems (extinguishers, sprinklers, hydrants), Hot work and ignition control, Maintenance and inspection of fire safety systems, Fire safety signage and labeling

Module 3: Industrial Safety Management & Regulations: Occupational health and safety policies, Legal compliance and safety standards, Safety roles and responsibilities, Permit-to-work systems, Accident/incident reporting and investigation, Safety audits and documentation procedures

Module 4: Emergency Planning & Response: Emergency action plan development, Evacuation procedures and assembly point management, Emergency communication and coordination, Roles during emergencies, Fire drills and preparedness exercises, Coordination with local emergency services

Module 5: Firefighting Operations & Practical Skills: Types and operation of fire extinguishers, Fire hydrant and sprinkler system handling, Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), Firefighting tactics for different scenarios, Search and rescue techniques, Smoke control and ventilation procedures

Module 6: Industrial Safety Practices & Risk Control: Hazard identification and risk assessment, Control measures for chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards, Safe work procedures and ergonomics, Personal protective equipment selection and use, Incident prevention strategies, Continuous safety improvement and monitoring

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
