Objective: The Certified School Community Engagement Specialist course is designed to equip educators and school professionals with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to build strong, collaborative relationships between schools and their surrounding communities. The course covers key topics such as stakeholder mapping, family and community outreach, inclusive communication, partnership building, event coordination, volunteer management, and cultural responsiveness.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of School-Community Engagement: Definition and scope of community engagement in education, Importance of school-family-community partnerships, Roles and responsibilities of a School Community Engagement Specialist, Understanding school culture and community context, Principles of inclusive and equitable engagement, Legal and ethical considerations in engagement.

Module 2: Building Relationships and Trust with Stakeholders: Identifying key school and community stakeholders, Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Strategies for building trust and rapport, Managing expectations and conflicts, Cultural competency and sensitivity, Facilitating stakeholder collaboration.

Module 3: Designing and Implementing Engagement Initiatives: Planning community involvement programs, Setting goals and evaluating needs, Coordinating events, workshops, and outreach activities, Integrating community resources into school programs, Engaging underrepresented families and communities, Promoting volunteerism and active participation.

Module 4: Communication and Media Strategies: Creating communication plans for engagement, Using digital platforms and social media effectively, Producing newsletters, reports, and promotional materials, Ensuring accessible and multilingual communication, Managing public relations and school reputation, Gathering and responding to feedback.

Module 5: Partnership Development and Resource Mobilization: Establishing partnerships with local organizations and businesses, Collaborating with non-profits and government agencies, Writing proposals and securing grants, Sharing resources for mutual benefit, Documenting and sustaining partnerships, Measuring partnership impact.

Module 6: Evaluation, Reflection, and Continuous Improvementl: Monitoring and assessing engagement efforts, Tools for evaluating community participation, Collecting and analyzing stakeholder feedback, Reflective practice for engagement specialists, Reporting outcomes to leadership and the community, Adapting strategies for long-term impact.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
