Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Sculptor course aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the art of sculpture. It focuses on teaching various sculpting techniques, materials, and tools used across different styles and traditions. The course enhances students’ ability to conceptualize and create three-dimensional artworks, emphasizing creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic expression. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Sculpture: History of sculpture, Types of sculpture, Basic materials and tools, Understanding forms and shapes, Safety measures in sculpting, Overview of sculpting techniques.

Module 2: Materials and Tools: Clay types and preparation, Stone varieties and carving tools, Wood selection and carving tools, Metal sculpting basics, Use of plaster and resins, Tool maintenance and handling.

Module 3: Sculpting Techniques: Additive sculpting, Subtractive sculpting, Modeling and molding, Carving methods, Assemblage and construction, Surface finishing techniques.

Module 4: Anatomy and Proportion: Human anatomy basics for sculptors, Proportions of the human figure, Animal anatomy fundamentals, Creating realistic features, Gesture and movement in sculpture, Expressive forms and stylization.

Module 5: Advanced Sculpture Practices: Casting techniques (lost-wax, sand), Patination and coloring, Installation and mounting, Large-scale sculpture challenges, Digital tools in sculpting, Conservation and restoration basics.

Module 6: Portfolio Development and Professional Practice: Documenting artwork, Building a professional portfolio, Art marketing and sales, Legal considerations and copyrights, Exhibition preparation, Career pathways and continuing education.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
