Objective: The Certified Short Message Service (SMS) Coordinator course is designed to equip participants with the technical knowledge and strategic skills to manage SMS platforms for organizational communication. The course covers fundamentals of SMS technology, message planning, audience segmentation, scheduling, delivery optimization, compliance with data protection laws (such as GDPR and TCPA), and integration with alert systems for emergencies, marketing, or internal communication.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Short Message Service (SMS) and Messaging Ecosystem: Overview of SMS technology and its evolution, Role and responsibilities of an SMS Coordinator, Understanding the components of SMS communication: SMPP, SMSC, API, and gateways, Types of SMS: transactional, promotional, and OTP, Difference between A2P and P2P messaging, Key regulations and compliance standards (TRAI, GDPR, TCPA).
Module 2: SMS Platforms, Tools, and Infrastructure: Introduction to SMS gateway providers and cloud platforms, Integration of SMS with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, websites), Setting up sender IDs, templates, and keyword management, Understanding SMS APIs and automation tools, Managing short codes, long codes, and virtual numbers, Ensuring message deliverability and infrastructure reliability.
Module 3: Content Creation, Personalization, and Scheduling: Best practices in SMS content writing and call-to-action, Message length, segmentation, and use of Unicode, Personalization using dynamic fields and data mapping, Scheduling and frequency management of campaigns, Multilingual messaging and localization, Avoiding spam triggers and ensuring high engagement.
Module 4: Compliance, Consent, and Data Privacy: Understanding opt-in and opt-out mechanisms, Maintaining subscriber consent records and preference centers, Compliance with DND, anti-spam, and country-specific SMS laws, Role of SMS in emergency alerts and sensitive communications, Secure handling of customer data and usage analytics, Penalties for non-compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
Module 5: Monitoring, Analytics, and Reporting: Real-time delivery reports and status codes interpretation, Key SMS performance metrics: open rate, click rate, bounce rate, Analyzing campaign performance and subscriber behavior, Troubleshooting failed deliveries and routing issues, Generating custom reports for stakeholders, Using insights to optimize future SMS strategies.
Module 6: Crisis Communication, Coordination, and Best Practices: Using SMS for alerts, notifications, and emergency coordination, Coordinating with teams during events or system outages, Ensuring redundancy and failover systems in messaging, Best practices for SMS load balancing and priority routing, Integrating SMS with other communication channels (email, IVR, apps), Case studies on successful SMS-driven coordination campaigns.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
