Objective: The Certified Smart Hotel Systems Specialist course is designed to equip professionals with comprehensive knowledge and skills to implement and manage advanced smart technologies in the hospitality industry. The program covers smart building automation, IoT integration, energy management, guest experience enhancement through smart devices, data analytics, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency in hotels.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Smart Hotels and Digital Transformation: Definition and components of a smart hotel ecosystem, Evolution of hotel technology from traditional to smart systems, Benefits of smart hotel systems for guests and operators, Key trends: IoT, AI, automation, contactless technologies, Role of a Smart Hotel Systems Specialist in hospitality innovation, Challenges in adopting smart technologies in various hotel formats.

Module 2: Core Smart Hotel Technologies and Infrastructure: Property Management Systems (PMS) and their smart integrations, Building Management Systems (BMS) for energy and facility control, Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) for personalized in-room experience, Network infrastructure: Wi-Fi, IoT hubs, cloud connectivity, Keyless entry, facial recognition, and biometric systems, Integration of various systems for a unified digital ecosystem.

Module 3: IoT and Automation in Hotel Operations: Overview of IoT devices used in smart hotels: sensors, thermostats, lighting, Smart room automation: HVAC, curtains, lighting, voice assistants, Predictive maintenance using IoT data and analytics, Real-time monitoring of occupancy, usage patterns, and guest preferences, Integrating wearable tech and mobile apps for seamless experiences, Cybersecurity considerations for IoT in hospitality.
