Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Social Media Assistant course is designed to provide learners with practical skills to support social media management and content coordination across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok. The course covers platform-specific features, content scheduling, post creation, basic graphic design using tools like Canva, audience engagement techniques, social media etiquette, and analytics tracking.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Social Media Management: Understanding the Role of a Social Media Assistant, Overview of Major Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), Setting Up and Optimizing Social Media Profiles, Importance of Brand Voice and Visual Identity, Social Media Goals and KPIs, Basics of Social Media Algorithms.

Module 2: Content Creation and Planning: Creating Engaging Posts (Text, Image, Video), Using Design Tools (Canva, Adobe Express), Writing Captions and Hashtags Effectively, Content Calendar Planning, Curating Relevant Third-Party Content, Adapting Content for Different Platforms.

Module 3: Scheduling and Publishing: Introduction to Scheduling Tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite), Best Times to Post for Engagement, Automating Regular Updates, Tagging and Location Features, Coordinating Content Approvals, Ensuring Consistency in Publishing.

Module 4: Community Management: Monitoring Comments and Mentions, Responding to Followers Professionally, Handling Negative Feedback and Escalations, Encouraging Audience Engagement, Building Relationships with Followers, Managing Group or Page Interactions.

Module 5: Basic Analytics and Reporting: Understanding Platform Insights (Reach, Impressions, Engagement), Tracking Follower Growth and Post Performance, Creating Simple Reports for Management, Identifying High-Performing Content, Using Data to Improve Strategy, Introduction to UTM Links and Tracking Tools.

Module 6: Social Media Guidelines and Best Practices: Maintaining Brand Guidelines Online, Understanding Copyright and Content Ownership, Avoiding Common Social Media Mistakes, Staying Updated with Platform Changes, Following Ethical and Inclusive Practices, Supporting Paid Campaigns and Promotions.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
