Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Social Work and Family Counselor course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of social work principles, counseling techniques, and family support systems. The program equips learners with the professional skills required to assess, guide, and assist individuals, families, and communities facing social, emotional, or psychological challenges.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Human Development and Family Dynamics: Stages of Human Growth and Development, Family Systems and Structures, Cultural and Societal Influences on Family Life, Parenting Styles and Child Development, Marital Relationships and Communication Patterns, Impact of Social Change on Family Dynamics
Module 3: Counseling Theories and Techniques: Overview of Major Counseling Theories (Psychodynamic, Behavioral, Humanistic), Counseling Process and Relationship Building, Interviewing and Assessment Skills, Goal Setting and Intervention Planning, Crisis Intervention and Trauma Counseling, Ethics and Boundaries in Counseling Practice
Module 4: Social Welfare Policies and Community Practice: Social Welfare Programs and Government Schemes, Role of NGOs and Community Organizations, Policy Advocacy and Social Justice, Community Needs Assessment and Development, Casework and Group Work in Social Practice, Documentation and Report Writing in Social Work
Module 5: Family Counseling Interventions and Specialized Areas: Premarital and Marital Counseling Techniques, Conflict Resolution and Mediation in Families, Counseling for Domestic Violence and Abuse, Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation Counseling, Child and Adolescent Counseling, Counseling for Elderly and Caregiver Support
Module 6: Research, Evaluation, and Professional Development: Social Work Research Methods and Data Collection, Program Evaluation and Impact Assessment, Evidence-Based Practice in Counseling, Supervision and Reflective Practice, Professional Growth and Continuous Learning, Ethical Challenges and Legal Considerations in Social Work and Counseling

- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
