The course covers physical, mental, emotional, and social health frameworks, along with topics such as mental health first aid, stress management, school climate, inclusivity, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with families and community resources.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Understanding Student Well-being: Definition and dimensions of student well-being (emotional, social, physical, mental), Importance of well-being in academic success, Factors affecting student well-being in school settings, The role of schools and educators in promoting well-being, Key theories and frameworks in well-being education, Identifying signs of distress and well-being challenges.

Module 2: Developing a Whole-School Well-being Framework: Establishing well-being goals and objectives, Creating inclusive and supportive school policies, Building a positive school climate and culture, Integrating well-being into curriculum and teaching practices, Engaging leadership and stakeholders in planning, Aligning with national and global well-being standards.

Module 3: Promoting Emotional and Mental Health: Understanding emotional development in children and adolescents, Supporting students with stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation, Building resilience and self-awareness skills, Teaching coping strategies and mindfulness practices, Reducing stigma around mental health, Collaborating with mental health professionals and services.

Module 4: Social and Physical Well-being Initiatives: Encouraging healthy relationships and peer connections, Anti-bullying and inclusion strategies, Promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices, Designing well-being-focused extracurricular activities, Addressing digital well-being and screen time balance, Supporting students with diverse physical and sensory needs.

Module 5: Monitoring and Assessing Well-being: Selecting tools and indicators to assess student well-being, Conducting surveys, focus groups, and observations, Using student voice and feedback in evaluations, Data analysis and reporting for improvement planning, Adapting interventions based on assessment data, Ensuring confidentiality and ethical data practices.

Module 6: Leading and Sustaining Well-being Programs: Building staff capacity and training educators in well-being practices, Engaging families and community partners, Creating sustainable action plans and timelines, Evaluating the impact of well-being programs, Scaling and replicating successful initiatives, Staying updated with global trends in student well-being.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
