Objective: The Certified Sustainable Design Consultant course aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to integrate sustainable principles into design projects across architecture, interior design, product design, and urban planning. The program covers key topics such as environmental impact assessment, energy efficiency, use of eco-friendly materials, waste reduction, and sustainable resource management.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Sustainable Design: Principles of Sustainability, History and Evolution of Sustainable Design, Environmental Impact of Design, Key Sustainability Challenges, Overview of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Role of a Sustainable Design Consultant.

Module 2: Sustainable Materials and Resources: Types of Sustainable Materials, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Renewable vs. Non-renewable Resources, Sourcing and Supply Chain Ethics, Waste Reduction and Recycling, Innovations in Sustainable Materials.

Module 3: Energy Efficiency and Green Building: Energy-Efficient Design Principles, Renewable Energy Technologies, Green Building Certifications (LEED, BREEAM), Passive Design Strategies, Building Performance Analysis, Energy Management Systems.

Module 4: Sustainable Product and Systems Design: Design for Durability and Repairability, Circular Economy Concepts, Eco-design Tools and Techniques, Sustainable Packaging Solutions, Water Conservation Methods, Sustainable Transportation Design.

Module 5: Environmental Regulations and Standards: International Environmental Policies, Local and Regional Regulations, Compliance and Reporting, Environmental Impact Assessments, Sustainability Audits, Ethical and Social Responsibility in Design.

Module 6: Consulting Skills and Professional Practice: Client Needs Assessment, Sustainable Design Project Management, Communication and Presentation Skills, Cost-Benefit Analysis of Sustainable Solutions, Stakeholder Engagement, Building a Sustainable Design Consultancy.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
