Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Test Automation: Importance and benefits of test automation, Differences between manual and automated testing, Test automation life cycle, Criteria for automation and what to automate, ROI and cost-benefit analysis in automation, Overview of test automation tools and frameworks.

Module 2: Test Automation Planning and Design: Defining automation scope and objectives, Selecting the right test automation approach, Identifying test scenarios for automation, Designing reusable and maintainable test scripts, Data-driven vs keyword-driven testing, Creating an automation strategy and roadmap.

Module 3: Automation Tools and Scripting Fundamentals: Overview of popular tools (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG), Setting up test environments and tool configurations, Introduction to scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript), Writing and debugging automated test scripts, Using assertions and verifications, Version control with Git for automation scripts.

Module 4: Framework Development and Maintenance: Types of frameworks: modular, hybrid, BDD, POM, Building a custom test automation framework, Integrating with CI/CD pipelines, Handling dynamic elements and synchronization, Managing test data and environment configurations, Framework scalability and maintainability.

Module 5: Test Execution, Reporting and Integration: Executing test cases across environments and browsers, Parallel and cross-browser testing techniques, Generating test execution reports and logs, Integrating with tools like Jenkins, Allure, TestRail, Logging defects and test management integration, Analyzing results and debugging failures.

Module 6: Advanced Topics and Best Practices: Automated testing for APIs and web services, Automation in Agile and DevOps environments, Continuous testing and shift-left approach, Performance and load testing basics, Test automation challenges and mitigation, Industry best practices and emerging trends.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
