Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Textile & Apparel Export-Import Executive course is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to efficiently manage international trade operations in the textile and apparel industry. The course covers export-import procedures, documentation, international trade laws, INCOTERMS, HS codes, customs regulations, logistics coordination, and payment terms including letters of credit.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Export-Import in Textiles & Apparel: Overview of the Global Textile & Apparel Trade, The Role of Export-Import Executives in the Textile Industry, Key International Trade Regulations and Agreements (WTO, Free Trade Agreements), Understanding Import and Export Documentation, The Role of Export-Import in the Global Supply Chain, Key Challenges and Opportunities in Textile & Apparel Export-Import.

Module 2: Export-Import Documentation and Procedures: Essential Export Documentation (Proforma Invoice, Export Declaration, Bill of Lading), Import Documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Import Declaration), The Role of Customs Clearance in Import-Export, Understanding Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW) and Their Implications, Certificates of Origin and Compliance Requirements, Managing Shipping and Freight Documents.

Module 3: Customs Regulations and Trade Compliance: Understanding Customs Regulations in Major Textile Export-Import Markets, Harmonized System (HS) Codes and Their Use in Textile Trade, Import-Export Tariffs, Duties, and Taxes, Compliance with Textile-Specific Trade Restrictions (Anti-Dumping, Quotas), Managing Customs Inspections and Clearances, Risk Management and Ensuring Compliance with Global Trade Laws.

Module 4: Logistics and Transportation Management: Overview of International Shipping Methods (Air Freight, Sea Freight, Rail, Trucking), Understanding Freight Forwarders, Shipping Agents, and Customs Brokers, Managing Shipping and Transportation Costs in Textile Trade, Packaging and Labeling Requirements for Export-Import, Transport Documentation (Bill of Lading, Airway Bill), Managing Lead Times and Delivery Schedules in Textile Export-Import.

Module 5: International Trade Finance and Payment Terms: Understanding Trade Finance Instruments (Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees), Payment Terms in International Trade (Cash in Advance, Open Account, Documentary Collection), Currency Exchange Risks and Hedging, Managing Foreign Exchange and Cross-Border Payments, Export Credit Insurance and Risk Mitigation, The Role of Banks and Financial Institutions in Trade Transactions.

Module 6: International Marketing, Distribution, and Customer Relations: Developing Marketing Strategies for Exporting Textile & Apparel Products, Identifying and Targeting Global Markets for Textiles, Building Strong Relationships with International Customers and Partners, Distribution Channels and Retailing Strategies for International Markets, Trade Shows, Exhibitions, and Networking in Textile Export-Import, Handling Disputes and Customer Service in International Trade.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
