Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Textile Printing Technician course is designed to develop practical and technical skills in printing techniques, dye application, fabric preparation, color matching, machine handling, and quality control. The program prepares learners for careers in textile printing units, apparel manufacturing, fabric processing mills, and export houses, focusing on both traditional and modern printing technologies.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Textile Printing: Overview of Textile Printing Industry, Difference Between Dyeing and Printing, Applications of Printing on Fabrics, Basic Printing Terminologies, Role and Responsibilities of a Printing Technician, Career Opportunities in Textile Printing.

Module 2: Printing Methods and Techniques: Block Printing and Screen Printing, Roller and Rotary Screen Printing, Heat Transfer Printing, Digital Textile Printing Basics, Stencil and Spray Techniques, Selection of Printing Method Based on Fabric Type.

Module 3: Printing Machinery and Tools: Manual and Automatic Printing Machines, Parts and Working of Screen Printing Units, Roller Printing Machine Setup, Digital Printer Features and Maintenance, Tools for Registration and Alignment, Safety Measures During Machine Operation.

Module 4: Printing Inks, Dyes, and Chemicals: Types of Printing Dyes and Pigments, Thickeners, Binders, and Auxiliaries, Preparation of Printing Paste, Compatibility with Fabrics and Machines, Environmental and Safety Aspects of Chemicals, Storage and Handling of Printing Materials.

Module 5: Fabric Preparation and Post-Printing Process: Fabric Pre-Treatment (Scouring, Bleaching), Print Fixation and Curing Techniques, Steaming and Washing Processes, Drying and Finishing Techniques, Defect Identification and Rectification, Quality Control in Printed Fabrics.

Module 6: Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance: Common Printing Defects and Their Causes, Print Durability and Fastness Testing, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Maintaining Print Clarity and Sharpness, Record-Keeping and Production Logs, Case Studies on Print Quality Improvement.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
