Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Therapeutic Yoga Trainer (Foundational) course is designed to provide yoga professionals with a solid grounding in the principles, practices, and applications of yoga as a therapeutic modality. This course integrates classical yogic wisdom with modern science to address physical, mental, and emotional imbalances through personalized yoga interventions.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Therapeutic Yoga: Understanding therapeutic Yoga and its role in healing, The distinction between general Yoga and therapeutic Yoga, The principles of integrative healing through Yoga, How Yoga addresses physical, emotional, and mental imbalances, Overview of common health conditions treated with Yoga (e.g., back pain, arthritis, anxiety, depression), The importance of personalized approaches in therapeutic Yoga practices.

Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology for Therapeutic Yoga: Basic anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic Yoga (musculoskeletal, nervous, and circulatory systems), The impact of Yoga on body systems and its therapeutic benefits, Understanding common injuries and physical limitations in therapeutic contexts, How different body types and conditions affect alignment and movement, Adapting Yoga postures for individual needs and limitations, The role of proprioception and body awareness in therapeutic healing.
