Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: This course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to analyze, interpret, and influence tourism-related policies and regulations. Participants will learn about national and international tourism frameworks, regulatory compliance, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and the socio-economic impact of tourism policies.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Tourism Policy & Regulation: Overview of tourism policy frameworks, Role of government and regulatory bodies, Key legislation affecting tourism, International tourism agreements and conventions, Importance of policy in sustainable tourism development, Challenges in tourism governance

Module 2: Legal and Regulatory Frameworks in Tourism: Tourism laws and acts, Licensing and permits for tourism operations, Consumer protection and safety regulations, Environmental and heritage protection laws, Employment and labor regulations in tourism, Compliance monitoring and enforcement mechanisms

Module 3: Tourism Planning and Development Policies: National and regional tourism planning strategies, Destination development and management policies, Infrastructure and transport policies for tourism, Public-private partnership frameworks, Community engagement and stakeholder participation, Policy impact assessment and evaluation

Module 4: Sustainable Tourism and Environmental Regulations: Principles of sustainable tourism, Environmental impact assessments and policies, Conservation of natural and cultural heritage, Eco-tourism regulations and certification, Waste management and resource conservation in tourism, Monitoring and reporting sustainability compliance

Module 5: Tourism Marketing, Promotion & Economic Policies: Tourism marketing policies and strategies, Incentives and subsidies for tourism development, Visitor management and control policies, Data collection and tourism statistics for policy making, Economic impact assessment of tourism policies, International collaboration and trade agreements in tourism

Module 6: Governance, Leadership & Strategic Policy Analysis: Policy formulation and decision-making processes, Leadership roles in tourism governance, Regulatory audits and compliance assessment, Crisis management and risk mitigation policies, Monitoring and evaluation of tourism policies, Strategic policy recommendations and innovation in tourism management

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
