Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Trade and Commerce Professional course is designed to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge and skills in domestic and international trade, commercial operations, and business practices. It prepares individuals to effectively manage trade functions, understand regulatory frameworks, and support commerce-driven decision-making in organizations.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Trade and Commerce: Definition and Scope of Trade and Commerce, Types of Trade – Domestic and International, Components of Commerce – Trade, Transport, Banking, Insurance, Warehousing, Role of Trade in Economic Development, Differences Between Trade, Business, and Commerce.

Module 2: Business Environment and Regulatory Framework: Overview of Indian and Global Business Environment, Government Policies and Trade Regulations, Role of Regulatory Bodies (DGFT, SEBI, RBI), Import-Export Licensing and Documentation, Trade Policy Reforms, Ease of Doing Business Indicators.

Module 3: Domestic Trade Operations: Retail and Wholesale Trade, Supply Chain and Distribution Channels, Inventory and Stock Management, Pricing and Billing Systems, GST and Other Taxation Laws, E-commerce and Digital Trade Platforms.

Module 4: International Trade and Export-Import Procedures: Global Trade Concepts and WTO, Export-Import Documentation and Process, INCOTERMS and Trade Agreements, Foreign Exchange and Letter of Credit, Custom Clearance and Freight Forwarding, Export Promotion Schemes and Incentives.

Module 5: Banking, Finance, and Insurance in Trade: Role of Banks in Trade Finance, Trade Credit and Working Capital, Financial Instruments (Bills, Cheques, Drafts), Insurance in Trade (Marine, Transit, Fire), Risk Management in Trade Transactions, Digital Payment Systems and UPI.

Module 6: Business Communication and Trade Ethics: Principles of Effective Business Communication, Negotiation Skills and Conflict Resolution, Professional Email and Report Writing, Customer Relationship Management, Ethical Issues in Trade and Commerce, Sustainable and Responsible Trade Practices.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
