The course covers essential topics such as global shipping procedures, customs regulations, documentation (e.g., bills of lading, certificates of origin), Incoterms, trade compliance, freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation management. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Trade and Logistics: Overview of International Trade and Supply Chains, Role and Responsibilities of a Trade & Logistics Coordinator, Trade Terms and Incoterms, Key Stakeholders in Global Trade, Basic Logistics and Transportation Concepts, Introduction to Supply Chain Technology.

Module 2: Export and Import Procedures: Export and Import Regulatory Requirements, Documentation for Cross-Border Trade, Customs Clearance Processes, Duties, Tariffs, and Taxes, Licensing and Permits for Trade Operations, Trade Compliance and Regulatory Agencies.

Module 3: Shipping and Transportation Management: Modes of Transport (Air, Sea, Road, Rail), Freight Forwarding and Carrier Selection, Route Planning and Transit Time Management, Cargo Handling and Packaging Standards, Shipping Documentation (BL, AWB, CMR), Tracking and Tracing Shipments.

Module 4: Inventory and Warehouse Coordination: Inventory Control Techniques and Stock Management, Warehouse Operations and Layout, Receiving and Dispatching Goods, Inventory Accuracy and Cycle Counting, Coordination with 3PL and Warehouse Providers, Warehouse Safety and Compliance.

Module 5: Trade Finance and Payment Terms: Overview of International Payment Methods, Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections, Commercial Invoices and Proforma Invoices, Foreign Exchange Risk and Currency Terms, Payment Dispute Management, Role of Banks and Financial Institutions in Trade.

Module 6: Communication, Risk, and Performance Monitoring: Effective Communication with Internal and External Stakeholders, Managing Supply Chain and Trade Risks, Disruption and Delay Management, Using KPIs and Metrics for Logistics Performance, Reporting Tools and Dashboards, Continuous Improvement in Trade and Logistics.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
