Objective: The Certified Transport Planner course is designed to develop professionals with expertise in designing, analyzing, and optimizing transportation systems and networks across urban, regional, and intermodal contexts. The course covers transport policy and planning principles, traffic flow analysis, demand forecasting, infrastructure planning, sustainable transport strategies, GIS and transport modeling tools, and integration of public and private transport systems.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Transport Planning: Introduction to Transport Systems and Planning Principles, Objectives and Scope of Transport Planning, Types of Transport Modes and Networks, Transport Demand and Supply Concepts, Key Stakeholders in Transport Planning, Role and Responsibilities of a Transport Planner.
Module 2: Data Collection and Traffic Analysis: Methods of Transport Data Collection (Manual, Automated, Surveys), Origin-Destination Studies and Travel Behavior, Traffic Volume and Flow Analysis, Use of GIS and Mapping Tools, Data Interpretation for Planning Decisions, Forecasting and Modelling Travel Demand.
Module 3: Transport Policy and Regulatory Framework: Urban and Regional Transport Policies, National and International Transport Regulations, Sustainable Transport Policies and Goals, Public Transport Planning and Policy Integration, Legal and Environmental Compliance, Stakeholder Engagement in Policy Formulation.
Module 4: Infrastructure Planning and Design: Planning of Road, Rail, Port and Airport Infrastructure, Land Use and Zoning for Transport Projects, Intermodal and Multimodal Transport Systems, Cost Estimation and Budgeting for Infrastructure, Accessibility and Connectivity Considerations, Safety and Design Standards in Infrastructure Projects.
Module 5: Sustainable and Smart Mobility Solutions: Principles of Sustainable Transport and Low-Carbon Mobility, Non-Motorized and Public Transport Integration, ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) and Smart City Initiatives, Electric and Green Vehicle Infrastructure Planning, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Climate Resilience in Transport Planning.
Module 6: Project Management and Evaluation: Transport Project Life Cycle and Planning Tools, Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategies, Funding and Financing Mechanisms, Monitoring and Evaluation Techniques, Performance Indicators and Benchmarking, Case Studies and Best Practices in Transport Planning.
