Objective: The objective of the Certified Travel & Tourism Management Professional course is to develop skilled professionals equipped with the knowledge and competencies needed to manage and operate travel agencies, tour companies, and tourism services. The course covers both domestic and international tourism practices, including itinerary planning, ticketing, customer relations, and sustainable tourism.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Travel and Tourism Industry: Definition and scope of travel and tourism, Types of tourism (domestic, international, eco, cultural, adventure), Components of the tourism industry, Historical development of tourism, Role of travel and tourism in the global economy, Major organizations in tourism (UNWTO, IATA, WTTC).
Module 2: Travel Agency and Tour Operations: Functions and types of travel agencies, Tour operators and their classifications, Tour packaging and itinerary planning, Ticketing and reservation systems (air, rail, bus), Travel insurance and visa processing, Customer service and client handling.
Module 3: Tourism Marketing and Promotion: Tourism product and destination branding, Market segmentation and target audience, Marketing mix for tourism services, Promotion through digital media and travel fairs, Public relations and tourism communication, Tourism advertising and sales strategies.
Module 4: Destination Management and Planning: Components of a tourist destination, Role of DMO (Destination Management Organizations), Destination development and planning process, Sustainable tourism practices, Tourist behavior and demand forecasting, Case studies of popular global destinations.
Module 5: Hospitality and Transport Management: Types of accommodation and classification, Role of transport in tourism (airlines, railways, cruises), Travel logistics and coordination, Hotel bookings and group travel arrangements, MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), Relationship between tourism and hospitality sectors.
Module 6: Tourism Policy, Law and Trends: National and international tourism policies, Legal and ethical issues in tourism, Licensing and regulatory requirements, Safety, health, and crisis management in tourism, Emerging trends (eco-tourism, medical tourism, virtual tourism), Impact of technology on the tourism industry.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
