The course covers the three core UDL principles—engagement, representation, and action & expression—as well as strategies for curriculum design, instructional planning, assessment, and the use of assistive technologies.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Foundations and history of UDL, The three UDL principles: Engagement, Representation, Action & Expression, Neuroscience and learning variability, Benefits of UDL for diverse learners, UDL and educational equity, Key terminology and concepts.

Module 2: UDL Framework and Guidelines: Detailed exploration of UDL guidelines, Designing multiple means of engagement, Designing multiple means of representation, Designing multiple means of action and expression, Aligning UDL with curriculum standards, Case studies of UDL application.

Module 3: Assessing Learning Environments for UDL Readiness: Evaluating physical, digital, and social learning environments, Identifying barriers to learning, Tools and checklists for UDL assessment, Collecting and analyzing learner data, Collaborating with stakeholders for environment adaptation, Prioritizing modifications for accessibility.

Module 4: Designing and Implementing UDL-Based Curriculum: Planning curriculum with UDL principles, Developing flexible learning goals and materials, Integrating technology and assistive tools, Creating inclusive lesson plans and activities, Differentiating instruction effectively, Monitoring and adjusting curriculum design.

Module 5: UDL Strategies for Inclusive Instruction: Engaging diverse learners through varied methods, Supporting language and literacy development, Promoting executive function and self-regulation skills, Facilitating peer collaboration and social learning, Using formative assessment in UDL, Addressing individual learning needs.

Module 6: Leadership and Advocacy for UDL Implementation: Building capacity and training educators, Leading UDL implementation initiatives, Advocating for policy and systemic change, Overcoming challenges and resistance, Sustaining UDL practices in schools and organizations, Evaluating and reporting on UDL impact.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
