Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified VFX Artist course aims to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge in visual effects (VFX) production, covering the entire pipeline from concept to final output. Students will learn to use industry-standard software and techniques to create realistic and imaginative effects that enhance storytelling in films, TV, games, and other media. The course focuses on mastering compositing, 3D modeling, animation, simulation, and rendering.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to VFX and Industry Basics: History of Visual Effects, Types of VFX (Practical vs Digital), Overview of VFX Pipeline, Roles in a VFX Team, Introduction to Key Software (Maya, Nuke, After Effects), Industry Standards and Terminology.

Module 2: Fundamentals of 3D Modeling and Texturing: Basic 3D Modeling Concepts, Polygonal Modeling Techniques, Introduction to Sculpting, UV Mapping and Unwrapping, Texturing Fundamentals, Materials and Shaders.

Module 3: Animation and Rigging for VFX: Principles of Animation, Keyframe Animation Basics, Character Rigging Introduction, Skinning Techniques, Motion Capture Basics, Animation Cleanup and Refinement.

Module 4: Dynamics and Simulation: Particle Systems and Effects, Fluid Simulation Basics, Rigid and Soft Body Dynamics, Cloth Simulation, Smoke and Fire Simulation, Introduction to Destruction Effects.

Module 5: Compositing and Post-Production: Introduction to Compositing, Layering and Masking Techniques, Color Correction and Grading, Rotoscoping and Keying, Tracking and Match Moving, Integrating CGI with Live Action.

Module 6: Advanced VFX Techniques and Project Workflow: Camera Projection Techniques, Matte Painting and Environment Creation, Advanced Lighting and Rendering, Stereoscopic VFX, Pipeline and Asset Management, Final Project and Showreel Preparation.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
