Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Web Designer course is designed to equip individuals with the creative and technical skills necessary to design responsive, visually engaging, and user-friendly websites. The course covers foundational web design principles, color theory, typography, layout design, grid systems, and responsive design techniques. Participants will learn to use industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript to bring their designs to life.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Web Design: Overview of Web Design Principles and Process, Difference Between Web Design and Web Development, Role and Responsibilities of a Web Designer, Understanding Types of Websites (Static, Dynamic, Responsive), Introduction to Design Thinking and User-Centered Design, Tools and Technologies Used in Web Design.

Module 2: HTML and CSS Fundamentals: Structuring Web Pages Using Semantic HTML5, Styling with CSS: Selectors, Properties, and Values, Creating Layouts Using Flexbox and Grid, Embedding Media (Images, Videos, Audio), Forms and Input Elements with Basic Styling, Best Practices for Clean and Maintainable Code.

Module 3: Visual Design and User Interface Principles: Understanding Color Theory, Typography, and Layout Design, Creating Visual Hierarchy and Balanced Composition, Designing Buttons, Menus, and Navigation Systems, Incorporating Icons, Imagery, and Branding Elements, Accessibility and Contrast Guidelines for Inclusive Design, Using Figma/Adobe XD for Visual Mockups.

Module 4: Responsive and Mobile-First Design: Concept of Responsive Web Design and Mobile Optimization, Using Media Queries to Target Screen Sizes, Designing for Touch Devices and Orientation, Fluid Grids, Flexible Images, and Breakpoints, Testing Responsiveness Across Devices and Browsers, Building Mobile-First Layouts with CSS.

Module 5: Web Design Tools, CMS, and Frameworks: Using Design Tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Canva for UI Design, Introduction to CMS Platforms (WordPress, Wix, Webflow), Basics of Using Templates and Themes, Working with Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS, Integrating Google Fonts and Font Awesome Icons, Understanding Hosting, Domain, and Deployment Basics.

Module 6: Project Development and Portfolio Building: Planning and Executing a Complete Web Design Project, Design Handoff and Collaboration with Developers, Exporting Assets and Preparing Design Documentation, Creating Case Studies and Personal Website Portfolio, Freelancing and Career Opportunities in Web Design, Presenting and Showcasing Web Design Projects Professionally.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
