Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Website Designer course is designed to develop the creative and technical skills required to design, build, and maintain professional, user-friendly websites. The course covers web design principles, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, responsive layout techniques, and web development tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Web Design and Internet Technologies: Introduction to Web Design Concepts and Terminology, Understanding How Websites Work (Domains, Hosting, Servers), Principles of Design and User Experience (UX/UI), Web Standards and Accessibility Guidelines (W3C), Color Theory and Typography for Web, Overview of Web Design Tools and Software

Module 2: HTML and CSS for Website Development: Introduction to HTML Structure and Tags, Creating and Formatting Web Pages, Styling with CSS (Selectors, Properties, and Layouts), Responsive Design with CSS Media Queries, Working with Forms, Tables, and Multimedia, Best Practices for Clean and Semantic Coding

Module 3: Web Design with Graphic and Layout Tools: Designing Layouts Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma, Creating Web Graphics, Banners, and Icons, Image Optimization for Web Performance, Wireframing and Prototyping Techniques, Design Consistency and Branding in Websites, Exporting Design Assets for Web Development

Module 4: Client-Side Scripting and Interactive Design: Introduction to JavaScript and DOM Manipulation, Adding Interactivity with Animations and Effects, Using Frameworks and Libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap), Form Validation and Event Handling, Integrating APIs and External Scripts, Enhancing User Experience with Dynamic Elements

Module 5: CMS, Web Publishing, and SEO Basics: Introduction to Content Management Systems (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal), Installing and Customizing Themes and Plugins, Creating and Managing Website Content, On-Page SEO Techniques for Web Designers, Website Deployment and Hosting Setup, Maintenance and Backup Procedures

Module 6: Portfolio Development and Professional Practice: Planning and Executing a Complete Web Design Project, Working with Clients and Understanding Requirements, Web Design Project Documentation and Workflow, Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing, Building a Professional Web Design Portfolio, Freelancing, Career Opportunities, and Emerging Web Trends

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
