Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Weight Management Yoga Coach course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to effectively use yoga as a holistic tool for weight management. The course covers the physiological, psychological, and lifestyle aspects of weight control through yoga practices. Participants will learn to design personalized yoga programs that combine asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and dietary guidance to support sustainable weight loss and overall health.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Weight Management and Yoga: Basics of weight management, Understanding body composition, Role of metabolism in weight control, Overview of yoga and its benefits, History and philosophy of yoga, Types of yoga relevant to weight management.
Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology for Weight Management: Human digestive system and metabolism, Endocrine system and hormonal impact on weight, Musculoskeletal system basics, Energy balance and caloric needs, Understanding fat storage and muscle building, Physiology of stress and its effect on weight.
Module 3: Yoga Practices for Weight Loss: Asanas for boosting metabolism, Dynamic flow sequences (Vinyasa) for calorie burn, Pranayama techniques for fat reduction, Meditation and mindfulness for eating habits, Detoxification through yoga (Shatkarmas), Creating personalized yoga routines for weight loss.
Module 4: Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching: Basics of nutrition and macronutrients, Designing balanced meal plans for weight management, Role of hydration and supplements, Importance of sleep and recovery, Stress management techniques, Behavioral changes and motivation strategies.
Module 5: Coaching Skills and Client Management: Effective communication and motivational interviewing, Assessing client needs and goal setting, Tracking progress and making adjustments, Addressing common challenges and plateaus, Ethics and professionalism in coaching, Using technology and tools for coaching.
Module 6: Advanced Techniques and Program Design: Integrating yoga with other fitness regimes, Advanced pranayama and meditation for weight control, Designing group and individual sessions, Special considerations for different populations, Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, Preparing for certification and continued learning.
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
