Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Workplace Safety Assistant course is designed to prepare individuals to support workplace safety programs by understanding and implementing health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident prevention strategies. The course covers essential safety protocols, emergency response procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and effective communication of safety policies. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Workplace Safety: Overview of workplace safety principles, Importance of safety culture, Roles and responsibilities of safety assistants, Common workplace hazards, Safety regulations and standards overview, Incident reporting and documentation.

Module 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Types of workplace hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic), Conducting risk assessments, Hazard control methods, Using safety data sheets (SDS), Identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions, Reporting hazards effectively.

Module 3: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Types and selection of PPE, Proper use and maintenance of PPE, Training employees on PPE usage, PPE regulations and compliance, PPE inspection and storage, Limitations of PPE.

Module 4: Emergency Procedures and First Aid: Emergency response planning, Fire safety and evacuation procedures, Basic first aid skills and CPR, Handling workplace accidents and injuries, Communication during emergencies, Roles in emergency teams.

Module 5: Safety Training and Communication: Developing safety training programs, Effective safety communication techniques, Conducting safety meetings and toolbox talks, Using signage and safety symbols, Promoting employee engagement in safety, Documentation of training and attendance.

Module 6: Workplace Safety Monitoring and Improvement: Safety audits and inspections, Monitoring workplace conditions, Incident investigation and root cause analysis, Continuous improvement strategies, Reporting safety performance metrics, Compliance with legal and organizational safety requirements.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
