Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Yin Yoga Trainer course is to equip participants with a deep understanding of the philosophy, principles, and practices of Yin Yoga. The course aims to develop skilled and knowledgeable instructors capable of leading safe, effective, and meditative Yin Yoga sessions. Students will explore the anatomy of connective tissues, meridian theory, mindfulness techniques, sequencing strategies, and the energetic and emotional aspects of Yin Yoga. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology in Yin Yoga: Connective Tissue vs Muscle Activation, Skeletal Variations and Joint Mobility, Fascia and Its Role in Yin, Functional vs Aesthetic Approach, Understanding Compression and Tension, Anatomical Considerations for Safe Practice.

Module 3: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Energy Lines: Introduction to TCM and Yin-Yang Theory, Meridians and Organ Pair Theory, Five Elements in Yin Yoga, Emotional Correlations of Energy Channels, How Yin Yoga Stimulates Qi Flow, Sequencing Based on Meridian Theory.

Module 4: Yin Yoga Postures and Modifications: Detailed Study of 25+ Yin Poses, Use of Props and Support Tools, Modifying for Injuries and Special Populations, Understanding Rebound and Release, Safe Alignment and Target Areas, Teaching Pose Variations with Confidence.

Module 5: Teaching Methodology and Class Design: Creating Theme-Based Classes, Cueing Techniques and Verbal Guidance, Time Management in Classes, Holding Space and Student Observation, Sequencing for Seasons and Energetics, Developing Your Voice and Teaching Style.

Module 6: Practicum, Ethics, and Certification Requirements: Practice Teaching and Peer Feedback, Class Observation and Review, Ethics and Responsibilities of a Yin Yoga Teacher, Creating a Professional Teaching Presence, Final Assessment and Certification Process, Building Your Yin Yoga Offerings and Career Path.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
