Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Module 2: Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology: Musculoskeletal system and common injuries, Nervous system and neurological conditions, Respiratory and cardiovascular considerations, Effects of aging on the body, Understanding contraindications and limitations, Psychological aspects of rehabilitation

Module 3: Therapeutic Yoga Techniques: Asanas adapted for injury and illness, Breathwork (Prāṇāyāma) for healing, Guided relaxation and Yoga Nidra, Gentle movement and stretching protocols, Use of props for support and alignment, Designing progressive rehabilitation sequences

Module 4: Special Conditions and Population-Specific Practices: Yoga for musculoskeletal injuries, Yoga for neurological disorders, Yoga for cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, Yoga for mental health and stress management, Yoga for elderly and special needs populations, Customizing practices for individual requirements

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
