Objective: The Certified Yoga Instructor in Hospitality/Resort & Spa course is designed to train individuals to deliver professional yoga experiences within hospitality, resort, and spa settings. The program equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to design and conduct yoga sessions that enhance guest relaxation, wellness, and overall experience.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 2: Anatomy, Physiology & Health Basics: Basic human anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga, Understanding common stress-related and lifestyle conditions, Benefits of yoga for physical and mental health, Safety and contraindications for diverse guests, Age and fitness-level adaptations, Promoting preventive health and relaxation through yoga

Module 3: Yoga Practices for Resorts & Spa Guests: Beginner to advanced asanas suitable for spa and resort settings, Breathing techniques (pranayama) for relaxation and energy, Meditation, mindfulness, and guided relaxation sessions, Yoga nidra and restorative practices, Chair, mat, and outdoor yoga variations, Designing daily routines for guests with varied schedules

Module 4: Teaching Methodology in Hospitality Settings: Effective communication and engagement with guests, Lesson planning and session structuring, Incorporating storytelling and themes for guest experiences, Handling group and individual sessions, Providing feedback and motivation, Creating a welcoming and inclusive yoga environment

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
