Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).
Objective: The Certified Yoga Practitioner course is to provide students with a deep understanding of traditional and modern yoga practices, including asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control), meditation, anatomy, yogic philosophy, and lifestyle. The course aims to develop not only personal discipline and spiritual growth but also the teaching skills necessary to instruct individuals and groups safely and effectively.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Yoga and Philosophy: History and origin of Yoga, Schools and branches of Yoga, Yogic texts (Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika), Aim and objectives of Yoga, Panchakosha theory, Concept of Health in Yoga
Module 2: Human Anatomy and Physiology in Yoga: Introduction to human anatomy systems, Role of skeletal and muscular systems in Yoga, Nervous and endocrine system overview, Respiratory and circulatory systems and their Yogic relevance, Effects of Yoga on body systems, Safety guidelines for Yoga practice
Module 3: Asanas (Postures) and Alignment: Classification of Asanas, Benefits and contraindications, Standing postures, Sitting postures, Supine and prone postures, Inversions and balancing postures
Module 4: Pranayama and Breath Control: Meaning and types of Pranayama, Physiology of breathing, Techniques and stages of Pranayama, Nadis and Chakras, Bandhas and Mudras, Therapeutic uses of Pranayama
Module 5: Meditation and Mindfulness: Concept and stages of meditation, Concentration vs. meditation, Techniques (Japa, Trataka, Yoga Nidra, etc.), Mental health and Yoga, Stress management through meditation, Introduction to mindfulness practices
Module 6: Teaching Methodology and Ethics: Principles of Yoga teaching, Class planning and sequencing, Communication and demonstration skills, Observation and correction techniques, Professional ethics and responsibilities, Assessments and certification process
GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:
- Duration- 60 minutes.
- Number of Questions- 30.
- Number of Questions from each module: 5.
- Language: English.
- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
- There is no negative marking in any module.
