Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Yoga Practitioner (Foundational) course is to provide students with a solid introduction to the essential principles, techniques, and philosophy of traditional yoga. This foundational program is designed for those who wish to deepen their personal practice and understanding of yoga, whether or not they intend to become instructors.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Yoga Practice: History and Origins of Yoga, Overview of the Eight Limbs of Yoga (Ashtanga), The Importance of Yoga in Modern Life, Benefits of Yoga for Physical, Mental, and Emotional Health, Introduction to Different Yoga Styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini), Setting Intentions and Personal Goals in Yoga Practice.

Module 2: Basic Anatomy and Physiology for Yoga: Fundamentals of Human Anatomy for Yoga, Understanding the Musculoskeletal System: Bones, Joints, and Muscles, The Role of the Nervous System in Yoga Practice, Basics of the Respiratory System: Breathing and Lung Capacity, The Importance of Flexibility and Strength in Yoga, Injury Prevention and Safe Practice Guidelines.

Module 3: Fundamental Yoga Asanas and Alignment: Introduction to Basic Yoga Poses (Tadasana, Downward Dog, Child’s Pose, etc.), Proper Alignment in Common Postures, Understanding the Role of Core Stability, The Importance of Stretching and Strengthening in Poses, How to Safely Modify Poses for Flexibility or Limitations, Practicing Sequences with Breath and Movement.
