Objective: The Certified Learning Management System Administrator course is designed to equip professionals with the technical and operational skills required to manage, maintain, and optimize Learning Management Systems in educational and training environments. The course covers LMS setup and configuration, user and role management, course creation and deployment, data and reporting functions, troubleshooting, system integrations (e.g., SIS, content tools), and platform-specific best practices (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Google Classroom).

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Learning Management Systems: Overview of LMS and its Role in Education, Types of LMS Platforms (Open-source vs. Proprietary), Key Features and Functions of an LMS, Understanding the Administrator’s Role, Common LMS Platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.), LMS Terminology and Concepts.

Module 2: LMS Installation and Configuration: System Requirements and Hosting Options, LMS Installation Procedures, Initial Configuration and Setup, Customizing LMS Themes and Layouts, Setting Up Languages and Localization, Backup and Restore Procedures.

Module 3: User and Course Management: Creating and Managing User Accounts and Roles, Enrolling Users Manually and in Bulk, Setting Permissions and Access Rights, Creating and Organizing Courses, Managing Course Categories and Metadata, Setting Up Course Templates and Defaults.

Module 4: Content and Resource Management: Uploading and Managing Course Materials, Integrating Multimedia and Interactive Content, Using SCORM, xAPI, and LTI Standards, Embedding External Tools and Resources, Managing Quizzes, Assignments, and Gradebooks, Setting Up Forums, Chats, and Communication Tools.

Module 5: Monitoring, Reporting, and Analytics: Tracking User Activity and Course Progress, Generating Standard and Custom Reports, Using Learning Analytics Tools, Identifying At-Risk Learners Through Data, Exporting and Sharing Reports Securely, Leveraging Data for Continuous Improvement.

Module 6: Security, Maintenance, and Support: LMS Security Best Practices, Managing User Privacy and Data Protection (FERPA, GDPR), Performing Regular System Updates and Patches, Troubleshooting Common Technical Issues, Providing Administrator and User Support, Planning for Scalability and System Upgrades.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
