Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Reverse Logistics Specialist course is designed to provide professionals with the expertise to manage the return flow of goods in a supply chain, including returns, repairs, refurbishment, recycling, and disposal. The course covers reverse logistics planning, return merchandise authorization (RMA) processes, inventory recovery, cost control, sustainability practices, and integration with forward logistics systems.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Introduction to Reverse Logistics: Definition and Importance of Reverse Logistics, Differences Between Forward and Reverse Logistics, Key Drivers of Reverse Logistics in Various Industries, Role and Responsibilities of a Reverse Logistics Specialist, Types of Returns (Commercial, End-of-Life, Warranty), Impact of Reverse Logistics on Customer Satisfaction and Sustainability.

Module 2: Return Types and Process Flows: Consumer Returns and Return Authorization Processes, B2B and Retailer Returns Management, End-of-Life Product Recovery and Take-Back Systems, Warranty Returns and Defective Product Handling, Recall Management and Regulatory Compliance, Reverse Flow Mapping and Standard Operating Procedures.

Module 3: Inventory and Warehousing in Reverse Logistics: Receiving and Inspection of Returned Goods, Grading, Sorting, and Disposition Decisions, Refurbishment, Repackaging, and Restocking Processes, Reverse Logistics Warehousing Design and Layout, Inventory Valuation and Asset Recovery, Technology Tools for Reverse Inventory Management.

Module 4: Transportation and Cost Management: Transport Planning for Return Flows, Third-Party Reverse Logistics Providers (3PRLs), Route Optimization for Pickups and Returns, Cost Tracking and Chargeback Management, Minimizing Return Freight and Handling Costs, Benchmarking and Cost Reduction Strategies.

Module 5: Sustainability, Compliance, and Risk Management: Environmental Regulations and E-waste Management, Green Logistics and Circular Supply Chain Concepts, Legal Compliance in Product Returns and Disposal, Risk Identification in Reverse Logistics Operations, Data Security in Returns of Tech Products, Sustainable Packaging and Reusability Standards.

Module 6: Technology, Analytics, and Customer Experience: Reverse Logistics Software and System Integration, Use of Barcoding, RFID, and IoT in Returns Tracking, Data Analytics for Return Trend Forecasting, KPI Measurement (Return Rate, Recovery Rate, Cycle Time), Enhancing Customer Experience in Return Handling, Continuous Improvement and Innovation in Reverse Logistics.
