Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire and Safety: Basics of fire science and combustion, Fire triangle and stages of fire, Types and causes of fire hazards, Classification of fires (Class A, B, C, D, K), Importance of fire safety in workplaces and public spaces, Legal and regulatory framework for fire safety.

Module 2: Fire Prevention and Protection Systems: Fire prevention strategies and housekeeping, Fire detection and alarm systems, Portable fire extinguishers – types and usage, Fixed fire suppression systems (sprinklers, hydrants), Smoke and heat ventilation systems, Fire safety in electrical and flammable storage areas.

Module 3: Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification: Fire hazard identification techniques, Fire risk assessment methods, Emergency risk evaluation and rating systems, Control measures and risk mitigation planning, Developing fire safety checklists and inspections, Record-keeping and reporting protocols.

Module 4: Fire Safety Planning and Emergency Response: Fire safety and evacuation plans, Fire drills and mock exercises, Fire wardens and response team roles, Assembly points and escape route planning, Emergency communication systems and signage, First aid and handling fire-related injuries.

Module 5: Building Codes, Standards, and Safety Compliance: National Building Code (NBC) and fire norms, Fire-resistant building materials and design, Fire load calculation and zoning rules, Fire department NOC and compliance, IS standards for fire equipment and systems, Audit and legal documentation.

Module 6: Incident Investigation and Training: Post-incident investigation procedures, Root cause analysis and corrective actions, Fire safety training and awareness programs, Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings, Behavioral safety and promoting a fire-safe culture, Continuous improvement and lessons learned.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
