Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Participants will learn about different types of concrete, mixing techniques, pump operations, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and site safety procedures.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Concrete Mixing and Pumping: Role and responsibilities of a concrete mixer and pump operator, Overview of concrete types and properties, Importance of concrete quality and consistency, Key safety considerations in concrete operations, Industry standards and regulations, Trends and innovations in concrete technology

Module 2: Concrete Mix Design and Materials: Components of concrete (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures), Principles of mix design, Selection of materials for different applications, Testing material quality and compliance, Adjusting mix for workability and strength, Environmental considerations and sustainability

Module 3: Concrete Mixer Operations: Types of concrete mixers and their functions, Mixer setup and calibration, Loading and batching procedures, Mixing techniques and consistency checks, Routine maintenance and troubleshooting, Safety procedures during mixing operations

Module 4: Concrete Pumping Techniques: Types of concrete pumps (boom, line, trailer), Pump setup and calibration, Pumping procedures and flow management, Handling long-distance or high-rise pumping, Preventing blockages and equipment damage, Safety protocols for pumping operations

Module 5: Quality Control and Site Coordination: Monitoring slump, strength, and workability, Timing and sequence for concrete delivery, Coordination with site teams and placement crews, Inspecting and verifying pump and mixer performance, Record-keeping and reporting, Addressing defects or inconsistencies

Module 6: Safety, Maintenance, and Professional Development: Occupational safety procedures and PPE, Routine maintenance and repair of mixers and pumps, Emergency response procedures, Compliance with local regulations and standards, Professional ethics and responsibilities, Continuous learning and certification standards

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
