Participants will learn how to evaluate contract terms, document project activities, assess delays, disruptions, and cost overruns, and apply legal and contractual frameworks to resolve conflicts.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 2: Contract Management and Legal Foundations: Understanding construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, local contracts), Key contractual clauses and obligations, Rights and responsibilities of parties, Risk allocation and liability, Legal terminology in construction disputes, Contract administration and enforcement

Module 3: Claims Identification and Assessment: Recognizing potential claims, Differentiating compensable vs non-compensable claims, Assessment of delays, disruption, and acceleration claims, Quantifying cost impacts, Evidence collection and validation, Early warning and mitigation strategies

Module 4: Dispute Resolution Mechanisms: Negotiation techniques and strategies, Mediation and conciliation processes, Arbitration procedures and rules, Litigation in construction disputes, Role of expert witnesses, Comparative advantages of resolution methods

Module 5: Claims Documentation and Analysis: Preparation of claim submissions, Writing clear and persuasive claim reports, Supporting claims with schedules, drawings, and records, Use of analytical tools and software, Cost analysis and damage calculations, Reviewing and defending claims

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
