Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Construction Drone Surveying and Inspection course is designed to equip professionals with the skills to utilize drones for surveying, inspection, and data collection in construction projects. Participants will learn drone operation, aerial mapping, photogrammetry, LiDAR, safety regulations, and compliance with aviation laws.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Drone Technology in Construction: Role and responsibilities of a drone survey and inspection specialist, Overview of drone applications in construction, Types of drones and UAV systems, Benefits of drones for surveying and inspection, Industry standards and regulations, Trends and innovations in drone technology

Module 2: Drone Hardware and Sensors: Components of drones and UAVs, Types of sensors used (LiDAR, RGB cameras, thermal, multispectral), Sensor calibration and maintenance, Flight controllers and navigation systems, Battery management and operational limits, Selection of appropriate drones and sensors for projects

Module 3: Flight Planning and Survey Techniques: Flight planning principles and software tools, Aerial survey and mapping techniques, Photogrammetry and 3D modeling, Survey data acquisition protocols, Safe and legal flight operations, Optimizing flight efficiency and coverage

Module 4: Data Processing and Analysis: Importing and processing aerial data, Point cloud generation and analysis, Orthomosaic and topographic mapping, Volume and progress measurement, Accuracy verification and quality control, Integration with BIM and GIS platforms

Module 5: Inspection and Monitoring Applications: Structural inspections using drones, Roof, facade, and infrastructure assessment, Monitoring construction progress and safety compliance, Detecting defects and anomalies, Reporting and documentation of inspection results, Case studies and practical examples
