The course covers budgeting, cost estimation, cash flow management, financial reporting, contract administration, and risk assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Construction Financial Management: Overview of financial management in construction, Roles and responsibilities of a financial manager, Construction project lifecycle and financial impact, Key financial terms and concepts, Understanding construction contracts and payment terms, Financial ethics and compliance in construction.

Module 2: Construction Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Types of construction costs (direct, indirect, overhead), Methods of cost estimation, Preparing and managing construction budgets, Cost control techniques, Variance analysis and budget adjustments, Use of estimating software and tools.

Module 3: Construction Accounting Principles: Accounting basics and construction-specific accounting, Job costing and project accounting, Revenue recognition and billing procedures, Managing accounts payable and receivable, Payroll and labor cost management, Financial reporting and analysis for construction projects.

Module 4: Cash Flow and Financial Planning: Cash flow forecasting and management, Managing project cash inflows and outflows, Working capital management, Financial risk assessment and mitigation, Capital budgeting and investment decisions, Financing options and loan management.

Module 5: Contract Management and Financial Risks: Understanding contract types and their financial implications, Managing contract changes and claims, Identifying and mitigating financial risks in contracts, Bonding, insurance, and surety management, Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, Dispute resolution and financial impact.

Module 6: Financial Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Key performance indicators (KPIs) for construction finance, Project financial performance tracking, Preparing financial reports and dashboards, Auditing and internal controls, Communication with stakeholders and project teams, Continuous improvement in financial management.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.

  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
