The course covers IoT device selection, network architecture, data collection, sensor integration, real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and safety applications.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to IoT in Construction: Overview of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, Applications of IoT in construction, Benefits and challenges of IoT adoption, Key IoT components and architecture, Role and responsibilities of a construction IoT specialist, Industry trends and case studies.

Module 2: IoT Devices and Sensors: Types of sensors used in construction (temperature, humidity, motion, etc.), Wearable IoT devices for worker safety, Environmental monitoring sensors, Asset tracking and management devices, Connectivity options (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN), Installation and calibration of IoT devices.

Module 3: Data Communication and Networking: IoT communication protocols and standards, Network architectures for construction sites, Edge computing and fog computing concepts, Wireless sensor networks, Data transmission and reliability, Security challenges in IoT networks.

Module 4: Data Management and Analytics: Data collection and storage methods, Cloud platforms for IoT data, Data preprocessing and cleaning, Real-time data analytics, Visualization and reporting tools, Integration with BIM and project management software.

Module 5: IoT Implementation and Maintenance: Planning and deployment of IoT systems on-site, Device configuration and management, Troubleshooting and maintenance procedures, Ensuring system scalability and interoperability, Compliance with regulations and standards, Documentation and training.

Module 6: Future Trends and Professional Practice: Emerging IoT technologies and innovations, Integration of IoT with AI and machine learning, Sustainability and energy management applications, Ethical considerations and data privacy, Communication and collaboration skills, Career development and certification maintenance.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
