Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Construction Planning and Scheduling course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to plan, schedule, and manage construction projects efficiently. The program covers project scheduling techniques, critical path method (CPM), resource allocation, cost management, risk analysis, software tools (such as Primavera P6 and MS Project), and project monitoring and control.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Construction Scheduling: Overview of Construction Scheduling, Role of a Construction Scheduler, Key Terminology and Concepts, Importance of Scheduling in Construction Projects, Ethical and Professional Responsibilities, Scope of Construction Scheduling Practice

Module 2: Project Planning Fundamentals: Project Lifecycle and Phases, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Defining Project Activities and Milestones, Resource Allocation and Management, Time Estimation Techniques, Integration with Project Objectives

Module 3: Scheduling Methods and Techniques: Gantt Charts and Bar Scheduling, Critical Path Method (CPM), Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT), Line of Balance Scheduling, Resource-Loaded Scheduling, Advanced Scheduling Software Applications

Module 4: Risk Management and Schedule Control: Identifying Project Risks, Risk Analysis and Mitigation, Schedule Monitoring and Progress Tracking, Handling Delays and Disruptions, Schedule Recovery Techniques, Reporting and Communication of Schedule Status

Module 5: Construction Cost and Resource Management: Linking Schedule with Budget and Costs, Resource Planning and Optimization, Labor, Equipment, and Material Scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost-Schedule Integration, Forecasting and Variance Analysis
