Duration: Three Months.
Objective: The Certificate in Construction Safety and Health course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to ensure occupational safety and health on construction sites. Participants will learn hazard identification, risk assessment, safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, accident prevention, emergency response, and compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Construction Safety and Health: Role and responsibilities of a safety & health technician, Importance of safety in construction projects, Overview of occupational health and safety regulations, Key stakeholders and safety committees, Safety culture and awareness, Trends and innovations in construction safety
Module 2: Construction Site Hazards and Risk Assessment: Identification of common construction hazards (fall, electrical, chemical, mechanical), Risk assessment methods and techniques, Job hazard analysis (JHA), Control measures and mitigation strategies, Reporting and documenting hazards, Continuous monitoring and evaluation
Module 3: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Safety Gear: Types of PPE (helmets, gloves, harnesses, eyewear), Selection and proper usage of PPE, Maintenance and inspection of safety gear, PPE compliance with standards, Training workers on PPE use, Recording and auditing PPE compliance
Module 4: Safety Procedures and Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing safety procedures, Fire safety and emergency response, First aid and medical preparedness, Evacuation plans and drills, Accident investigation and root cause analysis, Documentation and reporting of incidents
Module 5: Safety Compliance and Regulatory Standards: Understanding OSHA, ISO, and local safety regulations, Safety inspections and audits, Compliance reporting and corrective actions, Safety signage and labeling, Coordination with safety officers and project teams, Continuous improvement in safety management
Module 6: Professional Development and Communication: Effective communication with site teams and management, Training and coaching workers on safety practices, Problem-solving and decision-making in safety management, Ethical practices and professional responsibility, Continuing education and certifications in safety, Career growth opportunities in construction safety
