Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Eco-Friendly Demolition Techniques course is designed to train professionals in sustainable and environmentally responsible demolition practices. The course covers key areas such as selective and deconstruction techniques, waste reduction, materials recovery and reuse, hazardous materials handling (e.g., asbestos, lead), and compliance with environmental regulations and green building standards (e.g., LEED).

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Green Demolition: Principles of Sustainable Demolition, Environmental Impact of Demolition Activities, Overview of Green Building Materials, Demolition Regulations and Compliance, Roles and Responsibilities of a Green Demolition Technician, Benefits of Green Demolition Practices.

Module 2: Planning and Safety in Green Demolition: Site Assessment and Hazard Identification, Developing a Green Demolition Plan, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Safety Protocols, Risk Management and Emergency Procedures, Permitting and Regulatory Approvals, Worker Training and Communication.

Module 3: Deconstruction Techniques and Methods: Selective Demolition and Material Salvaging, Manual and Mechanical Demolition Methods, Use of Advanced Equipment for Deconstruction, Minimizing Waste and Dust Generation, Handling Hazardous Materials, Techniques for Structural Disassembly.

Module 4: Waste Management and Recycling: Classification and Segregation of Demolition Waste, Recycling Processes for Concrete, Metals, Wood, and Plastics, Waste Reduction Strategies, Transport and Disposal of Non-Recyclable Waste, Documentation and Reporting of Waste Streams, Partnering with Recycling Facilities.

Module 5: Environmental Protection and Site Restoration: Erosion and Sediment Control Measures, Controlling Noise and Air Pollution, Soil and Water Protection Strategies, Habitat Conservation during Demolition, Site Cleanup and Restoration Practices, Sustainable Materials Reuse in Site Rehabilitation.

Module 6: Advanced Green Demolition Practices and Case Studies: Innovations in Green Demolition Technology, Life Cycle Assessment in Demolition Projects, LEED and Other Green Certification Standards, Cost-Benefit Analysis of Green Demolition, Case Studies of Successful Green Demolition Projects, Future Trends and Career Development in Sustainable Demolition.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
