Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Financial Analysis: Objectives and Importance of Financial Analysis, Role of Financial Analyst, Types of Financial Analysis – Horizontal, Vertical, Ratio, Qualitative vs Quantitative Analysis, Limitations of Financial Analysis, Tools and Techniques Used.
Module 2: Understanding Financial Statements: Components of Financial Statements – Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Interrelationship Between Financial Statements, Notes to Accounts and Disclosures, Common Size Statements, Comparative Statement Analysis.
Module 3: Ratio Analysis and Interpretation: Liquidity Ratios (Current, Quick), Profitability Ratios (ROA, ROE, Net Margin), Solvency Ratios (Debt-Equity, Interest Coverage), Efficiency Ratios (Asset Turnover, Inventory Turnover), Market Ratios (EPS, P/E Ratio), DuPont Analysis.
Module 4: Cash Flow and Working Capital Analysis: Cash Flow from Operating, Investing and Financing Activities, Direct vs Indirect Method, Free Cash Flow Analysis, Working Capital Components and Cycle, Liquidity Management, Cash Flow-based Performance Evaluation.
Module 5: Valuation and Investment Analysis: Time Value of Money and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Intrinsic vs Market Value, Valuation Techniques (DCF, Relative, Asset-Based), Risk and Return Analysis, Fundamental vs Technical Analysis, Sensitivity and Scenario Analysis.
Module 6: Advanced Topics and Emerging Trends: Financial Modelling Basics, Excel Tools for Analysts, ESG and Sustainability Analysis, Financial Forecasting and Budgeting, Role of AI and Data Analytics in Financial Analysis, Global Trends and Career Path in Financial Analysis.
