It aims to equip financial professionals with advanced expertise in investment planning, portfolio management, retirement and estate planning, tax optimization, and risk management.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Wealth Management: Concept and importance of wealth management, Role of a wealth manager, Financial planning process overview, Understanding client needs and risk profiling, Principles of ethics and fiduciary responsibility, Overview of financial markets and instruments

Module 2: Investment Planning and Portfolio Management: Asset allocation and diversification strategies, Equity investment fundamentals, Fixed income securities and bonds, Mutual funds and alternative investment options, Portfolio construction and performance evaluation, Risk-return analysis and modern portfolio theory

Module 3: Retirement and Tax Planning: Retirement planning strategies and pension schemes, Tax planning principles and compliance, Tax-efficient investment options, Role of insurance in retirement planning, Estate planning basics, Tax implications of different financial instruments

Module 4: Insurance and Risk Management: Principles of risk and insurance, Life insurance products and benefits, Health and disability insurance planning, Property and casualty insurance, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies, Integrating insurance into a comprehensive wealth plan

Module 5: Estate Planning and Succession Management: Estate planning objectives and tools, Wills, trusts, and legal structures, Succession planning for individuals and businesses, Tax planning in estate transfers, Charitable giving and philanthropy, Legal and regulatory considerations in estate planning

Module 6: Behavioral Finance and Client Relationship Management: Understanding investor behavior and biases, Psychological aspects of wealth management, Effective communication and client engagement, Building long-term client relationships, Ethical decision-making and conflict management, Monitoring and reviewing client portfolios

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
