Duration: Three Months.
Objective: The Certificate in Fire Protection Equipment Inspection course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to inspect, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of fire protection equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations. The course covers the principles and operation of various fire protection systems, including fire extinguishers, sprinklers, hydrants, alarms, and detection systems.
Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire Science & Protection: Fire chemistry and combustion process, Classes of fire and fire behavior, Fire risk assessment and hazard identification, Fire growth and smoke movement, Fire safety principles, Basics of fire protection systems
Module 2: Fire Detection & Alarm Systems: Types of fire detection systems (smoke, heat, flame), Fire alarm components and operation, Manual and automatic alarm systems, Installation and commissioning procedures, Testing and troubleshooting, Maintenance schedules and record keeping
Module 3: Fire Suppression Systems: Portable fire extinguishers and their classification, Fire hydrant and sprinkler systems, Foam, CO2, and chemical suppression systems, System design and layout considerations, Inspection and maintenance procedures, Emergency shutdown and safety protocols
Module 4: Inspection & Testing Procedures: Standard inspection checklists for fire protection equipment, Routine and periodic testing procedures, Functional performance verification, Documentation of inspections, Identification of defects and corrective actions, Compliance with standards and regulations
Module 5: Safety & Compliance Management: National and international fire safety codes and standards, Workplace safety responsibilities, Incident reporting and investigation, Safety audits and regulatory compliance, Training and awareness for personnel, Continuous improvement in fire protection practices
Module 6: Practical Skills & Field Operations: Hands-on inspection of fire extinguishers, hydrants, and sprinkler systems, Testing alarm and detection systems, PPE usage and safety during inspections, Identification of hazards on site, Coordination with emergency services, Post-inspection reporting and follow-up actions

- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
