Objective: The Certificate in Fire Safety Technology course is designed to develop professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, firefighting techniques, and fire safety management. The program covers fire science, fire behavior, types of fires, and appropriate suppression methods, including the use of modern firefighting equipment and systems. Participants learn to conduct fire risk assessments, implement preventive measures, maintain fire safety equipment, and respond effectively during fire emergencies.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire Science: Fire chemistry and combustion process, Classes of fire and fire behavior, Fire tetrahedron and factors affecting ignition, Heat transfer mechanisms (conduction, convection, radiation), Fire growth and smoke development, Fire risk assessment principles
Module 2: Fire Prevention & Safety Measures: Identification of workplace fire hazards, Fire prevention techniques, Hot work safety procedures, Fire safety signage and labeling, Inspection and maintenance of fire protection systems, Housekeeping and storage practices for fire safety
Module 3: Fire Detection & Alarm Systems: Types of fire detection systems (smoke, heat, flame), Fire alarm components and operation, Manual and automatic alarm systems, Installation and maintenance procedures, Testing and troubleshooting fire alarms, Integration with emergency response systems
Module 4: Fire Suppression Systems: Types of fire extinguishers and their use, Fire hydrant and sprinkler systems, Foam, CO2, and chemical suppression systems, Design and layout of suppression systems, Maintenance and inspection of suppression equipment, Emergency shutdown procedures
Module 5: Emergency Response & Firefighting Operations: Roles and responsibilities of fire technicians, Firefighting tactics for different fire classes, Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and breathing apparatus, Search and rescue operations, Fire drills and evacuation procedures, Coordination with emergency services
Module 6: Fire Safety Management & Compliance: National and international fire safety codes and standards, Fire safety documentation and record keeping, Safety audits and inspections, Incident reporting and investigation, Training and awareness programs, Continuous improvement in fire safety practices
