Objective: The Certificate in Generative Design for Construction course is designed to equip professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in applying generative design technologies to construction projects. Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.
Assessment Modules:
Module 1: Fundamentals of Generative Design: Introduction to generative design concepts, History and evolution of generative design, Benefits and applications in construction, Overview of algorithms and design principles, Comparison with traditional design methods, Role and responsibilities of a generative design expert.
Module 2: Software Tools and Platforms: Popular generative design software (Autodesk, Rhino + Grasshopper, etc.), Integration with BIM and CAD tools, User interface and workflow basics, Data input and constraint setting, Simulation and optimization features, Troubleshooting and updates.
Module 3: Algorithmic Design and Parametric Modeling: Basics of algorithmic thinking, Parametric modeling techniques, Defining variables and constraints, Creating adaptive design models, Iterative design process, Managing complexity in generative models.
Module 4: Application in Construction Projects: Structural optimization and material efficiency, Space planning and layout optimization, Environmental and sustainability considerations, Cost and time optimization, Collaboration with architects and engineers, Case studies and practical examples.
Module 5: Data Management and Analysis: Handling large datasets, Integration of sensor and site data, Performance analysis and decision-making, Visualization of design outcomes, Version control and model management, Data security and intellectual property.
