Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Green Building Techniques course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to implement and manage sustainable building practices. Participants will learn about green building standards, energy efficiency, sustainable materials, water conservation, waste reduction, indoor environmental quality, and renewable energy integration.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Green Building: Role and responsibilities of a green building technician, Principles of sustainable construction, Benefits of green buildings for environment and society, Key stakeholders and coordination, Overview of green building rating systems (LEED, BREEAM, etc.), Trends and innovations in green construction

Module 2: Sustainable Materials and Resources: Selection of eco-friendly construction materials, Life cycle assessment of building materials, Reuse and recycling practices, Energy-efficient material options, Water-efficient and low-impact resources, Material procurement and documentation practices

Module 3: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Systems: Energy-efficient building design principles, Installation of energy-saving systems (HVAC, lighting, insulation), Renewable energy integration (solar, wind, geothermal), Monitoring energy performance, Energy auditing and benchmarking, Coordination with project engineers and consultants

Module 4: Water Management and Waste Reduction: Water conservation techniques and technologies, Rainwater harvesting and greywater systems, Wastewater treatment and reuse, Construction waste management strategies, On-site waste reduction practices, Compliance with water-related regulations

Module 5: Indoor Environmental Quality and Safety: Indoor air quality monitoring, Sustainable ventilation and lighting systems, Thermal comfort and acoustics, Health and safety protocols in green construction, Compliance with building codes and standards, Risk management and mitigation in green projects

Module 6: Professional Development and Communication: Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders, Coordination and teamwork skills, Problem-solving and decision-making in green building projects, Ethical practices and professional responsibility, Continuing education and skill enhancement, Career growth and certification pathways

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
