Eligibility: 10th (High School) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Green Plumbing and Water-Efficient Systems course is to equip participants with knowledge and skills in environmentally responsible plumbing design, installation, and maintenance. The course covers water-efficient fixtures, rainwater harvesting, greywater systems, solar water heating, leak detection, and sustainable materials.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Green Plumbing: Overview of green plumbing principles, Importance of sustainability in plumbing, Environmental impact of plumbing systems, Roles and responsibilities of a green plumbing specialist, Green building codes and standards, Basic plumbing terminology and tools.

Module 2: Water Conservation Technologies: Low-flow fixtures and faucets, Water-efficient toilets and urinals, Rainwater harvesting systems, Greywater recycling and reuse, Leak detection and repair methods, Smart water management systems.

Module 3: Sustainable Plumbing Materials and Equipment: Eco-friendly piping materials (PEX, CPVC, recycled materials), Use of lead-free and non-toxic components, Energy-efficient water heaters, Solar water heating systems, Selection of green plumbing products, Maintenance of sustainable plumbing equipment.

Module 4: Installation and Maintenance of Green Plumbing Systems: Proper installation techniques for water-saving devices, Integrating rainwater and greywater systems, System testing and commissioning, Preventive maintenance practices, Troubleshooting common issues, Documentation of green plumbing installations.

Module 5: Plumbing System Design and Integration: Designing efficient water distribution systems, Incorporating renewable energy sources, Plumbing system layout for minimal waste, Coordination with HVAC and other building systems, Use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in green plumbing, Compliance with green building certification requirements.

Module 6: Safety, Compliance, and Environmental Practices: Health and safety standards in green plumbing, Regulatory compliance and permits, Environmental regulations and waste management, Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), Sustainable site practices and pollution prevention, Continuous education and professional development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
