Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent.

Duration: Three Months.

Objective: The Certificate in Health Promotion and Community Wellness course is designed to train professionals to implement and support health promotion initiatives in communities, workplaces, and healthcare settings. The course covers principles of health education, wellness program planning, disease prevention, nutrition, physical activity, mental health awareness, and community engagement.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 2: Health Education and Awareness: Principles of Health Education, Developing Educational Materials, Conducting Workshops and Seminars, Promoting Preventive Health Practices, Using Digital Platforms for Awareness, Measuring Knowledge and Engagement

Module 3: Community Health Assessment: Assessing Community Health Needs, Identifying Priority Health Issues, Data Collection and Analysis Methods, Understanding Social Determinants of Health, Engaging Stakeholders and Community Members, Reporting and Using Findings for Program Planning

Module 4: Program Implementation and Coordination: Planning and Organizing Health Promotion Activities, Scheduling and Resource Allocation, Coordination with Healthcare Providers and Organizations, Monitoring Program Participation, Ensuring Safety and Compliance, Documentation and Reporting

Module 5: Behavior Change and Wellness Strategies: Understanding Health Behavior Theories, Designing Behavior Change Interventions, Promoting Physical Activity and Nutrition, Stress Management and Mental Wellbeing Initiatives, Encouraging Healthy Lifestyle Choices, Evaluating Behavior Change Outcomes

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
